René Carrasco is an experienced engineer turned visual artist with a lifelong passion for painting, sculpting, and teaching. Embracing the arts later in life, René brings a unique perspective, curiosity, and technical eye to his creative practice.

His dedication to the visual arts has earned him local awards, features in prominent publications, and opportunities to participate in group exhibitions. René is also passionate about sharing his knowledge and creativity with others, teaching drawing and painting to individuals and communities.

René currently runs watercolour workshops at the Abbotsford Convent, offering students the opportunity to explore and develop their own artistic skills in a welcoming and inspiring environment.
